I went to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and majored in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Overall, I felt that this major really prepared me well for dental school. I am currently in my third year of dental school and I am now working in the clinic with patients. Working with patients has further solidified my desire to work in the field of the dentistry. I get to see firsthand now how we as dental professionals can impact our community and help those in need. I am looking forward to continuing my work in the clinic and developing relationships with my patients. After graduation, I plan to begin working in under-served communities providing care for those who need it most. In addition to that, I plan on working with my parents at Hawthorn Dental Associates and at Family Dentistry at Arlington Heights. While I am not working in dental school, I like to run at the park and enjoy all that Chicago has to offer.
